MMR Week 12: Texas A&M at Vanderbilt

Well, that was our last game at Kyle Field this season. Kind of what we thought it would be, and in ways it wasn’t. Did you expect to see Kyler Murray to throw those picks? I didn’t. Did you think Kyle Allen would play? I didn’t. Speedy is suspended again, and this team looks like a train wreck now, going into the last 2 conference games of the year. Get ready, this is going to be a bumpy ride!

Texas A&M at Vanderbilt

Sooooo, anyone who thinks this game is in the bag has no F-ing idea what they’re talking about. Thankfully, the SEC has become a turnstile of who’s great this week. LSU looked like they were in control and they just fell apart. Alabama looked like this wasn’t their year and have taken control. Arkansas was supposed to be looking for a new coach and have won big back-to-back games. So what does this mean about Vanderbilt? Plenty, these guys had a slow start but have made good progress this season.

Ralph Webb, the sophomore running back for Vanderbilt will determine the outcome of the game. He’s an average running back, but against this A&M defense, he may have a Heisman-like game. There isn’t as much of a passing game, so if they can get the ball going on the ground, they will stay in the game.

On defense, A&M will have to contend against an improving defense. The defense known as “Black Death” ranks #4 nationally in red zone defense, and if don’t show any life in our offense like we’ve done the last couple of weeks, this is going to be another ugly game. This will be close, and down to the wire. Good thing Kevin Sumlin has a great road record.

How will A&M perform, who the hell knows?! I mean, who’s the starting QB? This is week freaking 12 and we don’t know the starting QB??? And will someone go look for Christian Kirk? I think he may still be in Houston waiting to come home from the Arizona State game. I know this isn’t all the players fault, but we are on another downhill slide towards the end of the season. November is supposed to bring the season together, and we’re not showing any improvement.
